Essences Insensées

Essences Insensées (Perfumes and Senses) is the 4th edition of production by Parcours Saint-Germain des Prés. This is an olfactory visual exhibition which inaugurated in May 2006, in Paris.
Essences Insensées involves 13 international artists to create a perfume in collaboration with Fragrance House Quest International, a professional laboratory which created prestigious perfumes such as Dior J’adore for Christian Dior and Angel for Thierry Mugler.

The artists, in turn, collaborated with Quest perfumers to create perfume bottles and sculptures illustrating the fragrances. For the creation of the artwork and scents, workshops such as the National Manufacture of Sèvres, Bernardaud Porcelain Foundation in Limoges, Ceramiche Antonietta Mazzotti in Faenza, and some of the prestigious glass and crystal companies such as Baccarat and Lalique were involved in this production.

Essences Insensées is a production of Parcours Saint-Germain des Prés, presented by CULTURESFRANCE, with exclusive partner Quest International. Curated by Anne-Pierre d’Albis-Ganem, with Artistic Adviser Valery-Rose Pfeifer, and overall organization coordinator Delphine Valeau.
