FABLE

FABLE tells a visual story of fairytales, nursery rhymes, myths and legends, which sometimes, may or may not have a happily-ever-after ending.

This exhibition showcases works by 2 local artists Sandra Lee and Tan Wee Lit, and a French photographer Hermance Triay, that would provide a slice of reality in their land of fantasy and the crossings of fiction and non-fiction – dissecting popular tales, rhymes, myths and legends, and even contemporary writings, to understand them in the artists’ own contexts or similarly providing a link of a larger context – our society.
